Every one is condemning Mr. Hodgkinson’s violence, but the reality is that there are now two Americas with diametrical value matrices. The twain will not meet. Mr. Hodgkinson is the logical conclusion of the difference between socialism and capitalism, just as the North and South embraced diametrical opposite positions on slavery. Violence is to be expected, because the respective value positions leaves little room for rational argumentation. As I’ve remarked previously, this is very similar to the split between national socialists and the Sparticists of post World War I, Germany. The 2nd Internationale did not prevail in the pre-World War I vote on credits for armaments, but rather nationalism won out, and I expect the same will happen here in the United States. The only thing keeping the hammer of reaction from occurring is a similar collapse of the economy that occurred after 1929 in Germany. What preceded the barbarism of the Hitler regime was of course targeted assassinations, as what occurred recently in Washington D.C. Then it was the result of the Freikorps assassinating Rosa Luxemburg and Karl Liebknecht of Germany’s communist party. Unless Trump succeeds in putting American citizens back to work, the mother of all reactions is likely to occur somewhere down the line, and make the German experience pale in comparison. And we should note the Democrats are sparing no tactic to see that Trump’s agenda does not succeed. Americans are perfectly aware, as Germans were in 1933, that a good part of the blame for their predicament was laid at the feet of the Khazarian Mafia banksters of that era. Those who think the barbarism of Germany cannot reoccur are completely mistaken, and I see the same complacency in the Jewish American community that existed in Germany.
